James Wayne "Jim" Tucker is a former Republican member of the Louisiana House of Representatives, representing the 86th District from 2002 to 2012. He served as Speaker of the House during his tenure.[1]
In 2011, Tucker ran for Louisiana Secretary of State but was defeated in the primary by Tom Schedler, who received 449,616 votes, 50.47% of the vote, compared to Tuckers 441, 170 votes, 49.53% of the vote.[2]
In 2015, Tucker was named CEO of CommCare Corp., a company that manages gereatric care and is based in New Orleans.[3]
