Christopher Rivas (born 1986 or 1987) is an American author,[1][2][3] actor,[4][5] podcaster,[6][7][8] and storyteller.[9][10] He is best known for his podcast Rubirosa,[11] his book Brown Enough,[12] the role of Oscar on Call Me Kat, and his solo play, The Real James Bond... Was Dominican![13]

Life and career[edit]

Rivas was born and raised in New York City in 1986 or 1987. The son of a Dominican father and Colombian mother. He attended California Institute of the Arts, where he majored in acting in 2011.[14] He developed storytelling workshops United Nations High Commission for Refugees, LAMP on Skid Row, The Museum of Broken Relationships, UCLA and CalArts.[15][16] In 2018, he was part of the faculty of The Ariane de Rothschild Fellowship.[17]
