El encargado
El Encargado (in English: The Boss) is an online TV series from Argentina starring Guillermo Francella as the main character and with the supporting role of Gabriel Goity. It was first aired on Star+ in Latin America on 26 October 2022. In the United States and Europe it is available on Hulu. The show was created by Mariano Cohn & Gastón Duprat.
The series follows the life of Eliseo (Guillermo Francella), a doorman of a high-class apartment building in Belgrano, Buenos Aires, dealing with some problems with the neighbors who don't want him anymore as doorman and want to remove his job. To avoid this, Eliseo is recurring to unethical moves to keep his job, like invading the privacy of the owners of the apartments.[1]
In November 2022 a second season of the show was announced, and made available in November 2023. On that month, a third season of the show was confirmed.[2]
