The gillbar barb (Enteromius kessleri) is a species of cyprinid fish in the genus Enteromius from Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo.[2]

Size[edit]

This species reaches a length of 7.7 cm (3.0 in).[3]

Etymology[edit]

The Etyfish Project states that the patronym not identified but probably in honor of German-Russian zoologist Karl Federovich Kessler (1815–1881), who described many more cyprinids.[4]
