Takuya Kageyama (影山拓也, Takuya Kageyama, born June 11, 1997),[1] is a Japanese idol, actor, singer, and talent. He is an artist affiliated with Tobe.[2] He is a member of the male idol group IMP. He is from Tokyo.[3]

History[edit]

After watching the TV drama ''Detective School Q '' (Nippon Television), he admired Ryosuke Yamada, and when he was in the fifth grade of elementary school, he submitted his resume to Johnny & Associates. [4]Although he did not hear back, he did not give up and applied many times, and when he was in the second year of junior high school, he received his first audition invitation. After several auditions, he joined Johnny & Associates on June 19, 2011.[5]

He often danced as a backup dancer for bands such as Arashi, NEWS, and Kis-My-Ft2, but at the age of 20, he wanted to take a step forward as "Takuya Kageyama" rather than just one of the crowd, so he joined the staff. I consulted with him and said, ``I want to appear in Takizawa Kabuki and appeared in the 2018 performance. He is also given the role of leader of the Jr. by Hideaki Takizawa.

On "Music Station 2 Hours Special" broadcast on October 16, 2020, the formation of IMPACTors, a seven-member unit within Johnny's Jr. including Takuya Kageyama, was announced.[3][6] Since then, he has been active as a member of the IMPACTors and served as the group's leader.[7]

He left Johnny & Associates on May 25, 2023. On July 14, all members of the former IMPACTors joined Tobe and announced on a YouTube livestream that they would be renaming the group IMP. and making a fresh start.[2] He will continue to serve as the group's leader.[8]
