Vaddemgunta is a village in Palnadu district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the headquarters of Bollapalle mandal in Narasaraopet revenue division.[2]

Geography[edit]

Vaddemgunta is situated to the south of the mandal headquarters, Bhattiprolu,[4] at 16°08′N 79°42′E / 16.133°N 79.700°E / 16.133; 79.700. It is spread over an area of 1,691 km2 (653 sq mi).[2]

Governance[edit]

Vaddemgunta gram panchayat is the local self-government of the village.[1] It is divided into wards and each ward is represented by a ward member.[5]

Education[edit]

As per the school information report for the academic year 2018–19, the village has a total of 2 MPP schools.[6]

From this village so many people working outside of India, few more students completed their Ph.D in prestigious Institutes and working as Lectures.
