Halieutopsis galatea, also known as Galathea deepsea batfish, is a species of fish in the family Ogcocephalidae.[2] It can be found in the western Indian Ocean off the coast of Kenya.

Description[edit]

This species reaches a length of 5.5 cm (2.2 in).[3]

Etymology[edit]

The species is named after the vessel Galathea.
