St Michael's Church is a Catholic Church in the Diocese of Raphoe. It has baptismal and marriage records dating back to 1877 and has held the death register since 1913.[1] The cemetery at Doe dates from 1843.[1] John Joe Duffy is the parish priest currently.[1][2]

Following the tragic events of October 2022, the funerals of many of the large number of people who died were held inside this building.[3][4][5] President Higgins was in attendance, after flying back especially from an important meeting abroad.[6][7][8]
