Kwadwo Addaikrom is a town near Mim in the Asunafo North Municipal District in the Ahafo Region of Ghana[1]. The distance from Kwadwo Addaikrom to Mim is about 24 km.
Kwadwo Addaikrom is the Centre of the Bitre electoral Area. The town can be described as an averagely dynamic center for farming which is the fundamental occupation of residents who cultivate both cash crops and food crops.[2]. The predominant cash crop grown in this area is cocoa. Different variety of food crops produced in Kwadwo Addaikrom are sent to big cities such as Accra, Kumasi, Mim, Goaso among others.
In spite of the town's immense contribution to the agric economy of Ghana, the residents, who are predominantly cocoa farmers, lack basic social amenities of life. The Chiefs and residents of the town recently registered their displeasure against the Ghana government over their dysfunctional Pipeborne water; Congested healthcare facility; dysfunctional telecommunication network and uncompleted Police station.
