Jahanabad (Persian: جهان اباد), also Romanized as Jahānābād,^[3] is a village in Hemmatabad Rural District of the Central District of Borujerd County, Lorestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 4,115 in 979 households.^[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,837 people in 1,046 households.^[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,581 people in 1,337 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.^[2]
