1957 studio album by the Horace Silver Quintet
The Stylings of Silver Horace Silver Quintet recorded on May 8, 1957 and released on Blue Note later that year. The quintet features horn section Art Farmer and Hank Mobley and rhythm section Teddy Kotick and Louis Hayes .[1]
Reception [ edit ] The AllMusic review by Scott Yanow states, "All of Silver's Blue Note quintet recordings are consistently superb and swinging and, although not essential, this is a very enjoyable set."[2]
