From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Big 12 Conference is a group of 16 (originally 12) universities which compete in the NCAA Division I level. The conference was formed in 1994 but did not begin conference play until the fall of 1996. The majority of schools that compete in the Big 12 Conference as of July 1, 2024 are former members of the Big Eight Conference, Southwest Conference, and Pac-12 Conference. These schools have combined to win ten College World Series championships in their history.
