Ptyas semicarinata, the Ryukyu green snake, is a species of snake of the family Colubridae.[2]
The snake is found in Japan.[2]
This species can be found day or night in mountainous, flat, and urban areas. Mainly feeding on earthworms, Ryukyu Green Snakes are often spotted right after rain while earthworms get active on the ground.
