Siratus beauii is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.[1]

Description[edit]

This species attains a size of 120 mm.
with a degree of variation in color and sculpture strength,
particularly the size of spines and varices.

Distribution[edit]

This species occurs in the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico and the Lesser Antilles.
A deepwater species trapped alive at depths no less than around 180–200 meters, off West coast Barbados.[2]
