Life & work[edit]

Zak Greant has been an active participant, teacher, and mentor in free software and open source communities, including PHP, MySQL, Mozilla, the Free Software Foundation and the Open Source Initiative.

They have previously worked for MySQL AB, Sxip Identity,[1] eZ Systems and the Mozilla.[2] While having been the primary author on two books, on MySQL[3] and PHP[4] respectively, they contributed to others.[5]
