Frank Cozze (September 22, 1955) is an American Dirt Modified and sprint car racing driver, currently credited with over 300 career wins.[2]

Racing career[edit]

Frank Cozze began racing in 1974 by fixing up a car his father fielded for Budd Olsen and had been destroyed when the throttle stuck. He was named the rookie champion at the Flemington Speedway NJ, and in 1985 claimed that track's overall championship.[2]

Cozze went on to become track champion at the New Jersey venues at East Windsor Speedway and New Egypt Speedway, and to successfully compete in the mid-Atlantic region including Big Diamond Speedway PA, Brewerton Speedway NY, Grandview Speedway PA, Hagerstown Speedway MD, Nazareth Speedway PA, and Orange County Fair Speedway NY.[3][4][5][6][7][8]

Cozze won the Super Dirt Week main event in 2008 at the Syracuse Mile, and he was inducted into the Northeast Dirt Modified Hall of Fame in 2013.[2][9]
