Pete Skinner (November 12, 1942 – November 3, 2005) was an American politician. He served as a Democratic member for the 13th district of the Florida House of Representatives.[2][3] He also served as a member for the 5th district of the Florida Senate.[4][5]
Life and career[edit]
Skinner was born in McAlpin, Florida. He attended the University of Florida.[6]
In 1974, Skinner was elected to represent the 13th district of the Florida House of Representatives, succeeding Leon N. McDonald Sr. He served until 1976, when he was succeeded by Wayne Hollingsworth.[2][3] In the same year, he was elected to represent the 5th district of the Florida Senate, serving until 1982.[4]
Skinner died on November 3, 2005,[7] at the age of 62.
