Alfred Efona

Alfred Efona is a Solomon Islands politician and member of parliament (MP) from Central Honiara constituency serving in the 11th parliament of Solomon Islands. He is a member of the United Party. He ran in the 2019 election but placed second behind John Moffat Fugui who won the election but was later sacked from the parliament following a successful bribery allegation petition against him. Efona won the November 2020 bye-election to take the seat after defeating ten others including a former prime minister Gordon Darcy Lilo and the wife of the sacked MP John Moffat Fugui.[1][2][3][4][5]
