Long Kerebangan is a settlement of proud Lun Bawang community in the Lawas division of Sarawak, Malaysia.[1][2] It lies approximately 648.8 kilometres (403 mi) east-north-east of the state capital Kuching. Nestled amidst the verdant landscapes of Lawas, Sarawak, lies the enchanting village of Long Kerebangan, home to the indigenous Lun Bawang tribe. Long Kerebangan is not merely a geographical location; it is a repository of traditions, customs, and a vibrant cultural heritage that has endured for generations.

Long Kerebangan, situated in Trusan within the interior of Lawas, is cradled amidst majestic mountains, including the Buduk Balud, the highest peak in the vicinity. The temperatures here range from 20°C to 30°C during the day, dropping as low as 15°C at night, offering a refreshing and cool atmosphere.

Livestock husbandry and rice cultivation serve as primary sources of income for the residents, who also rely on the river and forest for fishing and gathering wild produce. A notable practice in the community is the 'tagang' system, employed for cultivating Semah fish, highly esteemed for its delectable flesh, commanding a premium price in markets. Long Kerebangan is also renowned for its "Tenem" project, a collaboration with the Sarawak Biodiversity Centre.

Long Kerebangan boasts an idyllic river perfect for sport fishing, while its lush jungle hides natural salt springs, providing excellent spots for wildlife observation. The crisp, refreshing air and invigorating ambiance make it an ideal destination for jungle trekking and camping enthusiasts.
