Tunb Rural District (Persian: دهستان تنب) is in Tunb District of Abumusa County, Hormozgan province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Tunb-e Bozorg.

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 155 in 49 households.[3] There were 498 inhabitants in 60 households at the following census of 2011.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 1,148 in 40 households. The most populous of its four villages was Tunb-e Bozorg (now a city),[5] with 690 people.[2]
