El Nacional (Catalan pronunciation: [əɫ nə.si.uˈnaɫ], meaning The National in Catalan language) is a online newspaper from Barcelona (Catalonia). The paper publishes separate editions in Catalan, English and Spanish language. It was founded in 2016 and it is published by Grup Les Notícies de Catalunya SL.[1][2][3]
El Nacional was first published on 2016 by José Antich, former director of La Vanguardia, to offer a Catalan online newspaper with an orientation framed in catalanism.
