Shuy Rural District (Persian: دهستان شوئ)[3] is in the Central District of Baneh County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Shuy.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 8,381 in 1,665 households.[6] There were 11,053 inhabitants in 2,544 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 12,221 in 3,178 households. The most populous of its 36 villages was Sabadlu, with 1,620 people.[2]
