Stott's College, now known as Acknowledge Education, is a private college in Australia. The primary campus is located in Melbourne, with three other campuses located in Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth.

Stott’s College, initially known as Stott’s Business College, was founded by its principal Sydney Stott in 1883. Sydney Stott had a business in partnership with William Hoare selling typewriters hence part of his motivation was to skill the Australian workforce in the use of typewriters. In 1998, Acknowledge Education, which is owned and operated by a common board, acquired Stott's Business College, then named it Stott’s College. Read more of the organization's history here.[1]
Course background[edit]
The college offers higher education, vocational training and high school courses. Acknowledge Education year 11 & 12 VCE program commenced in 2001. The program was initiated due to the growth of the Chinese market, and the need for an in-house pathway course following English. This allowed Acknowledge Education to develop a strong Chinese market. In 2003, Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) program commenced in the Stott's College Secondary Program. In 2005, Acknowledge Education gained Higher Education Degree accreditation.
Acknowledge Education is now a leading multi-sector education provider delivering ELICOS, Senior Secondary, Vocational and Higher Education courses in Health, Human Studies, Engineering Design and Construction, Tourism and Hospitality, VCE Year 11 and 12 across Australia.
Campuses[edit]
Stott's College was first established in its Melbourne campus, 54 Market St. Stott's College had campuses across other major cities in Australia and New Zealand including Adelaide, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland, and Dunedin in 1910. Due to the growth of the Melbourne campus, it was moved from 54 Market St to a larger building in 96–100 Russell St.[2]
The current Melbourne campus is located in 168 Exhibition St. This move was due to the growth of Acknowledge Education.
The current Sydney campus was established in 2015 and Perth campus was established in 2017. Later on, Brisbane campus opened in 2020. Acknowledge Education’s newest campus in Bourke St. opened in 2022.
