Kingsley Okonkwo (born 29 January 1976; addressed as. Dr. Kingsley Okonkwo, prior to 2022),[1] is a Nigerian multi-award-winning family life and relationship coach, TV Personality, and author. He is the founder and leader of Heart and Mind Consulting,[2] and David's Christian Centre.[3] He is the lead coach and convener of Love, Dating, and Marriage, also known as LDM.[4][5]

Early life[edit]

Kingsley Okonkwo was born on 29 January 1976 in Lagos state, Nigeria, to the royal family of King Rowland Okonkwo and Rosannah Okonkwo of the Obowo Kingdom in Imo state.[6] In 2022, he received an honorary doctorate degree from Myles Leadership University in India.[1]

Career[edit]

In 1996, Okonkwo founded David's Christian Centre as a Youth Fellowship center. In the early 2000s, it became a ministry.[6] In 1999, Okonkwo and his wife Mildred, co-founded Heart and Mind Consulting,[7] with the aim to help individuals and businesses build healthy relationships. In the same year, he founded Love, Dating, and Marriage (LDM), which began operating as Love, Dating and Sex, prior to 2005, after he got married.[6] As of September 2023, LDM has recorded over 200+ seminars since its establishment across Nigeria,[8] and the US.[9] He is known for his counseling, public speaking, and TV program on relationship and marriage.[10][11]

Personal life[edit]

On 3 September 2005, Okonkwo married Mildred Kingsley-Okonkwo,[12] with whom they have three children together.[6]

On 14 June 2020, Burna Boy revealed Okonkwo as his uncle.[13]
