In a positive review by Veronica of The Indie Blender, the record and band as a whole were described as a "marriage between Wavves and The Ramones". They stated that the record had a slight overuse of "falsetto ooooh's" and that the tracks tend to blend together into "one mesh of repetitive shouting choruses", though, it wasn't that big of an issue. Furthermore, they believed that there isn't a single track that they didn't want to get up and dance to".[3]
