Chalmardi (Persian: چلمردي), also Romanized as Chalmardī,[3] is a village in Zarem Rud Rural District of Hezarjarib District, Neka County, Mazandaran province, Iran, serving as capital of the district.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,205 in 274 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,262 people in 368 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,184 people in 362 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
