Khesht Sar (Persian: خشت سر)[3] is a village in Ahlamerestaq-e Shomali Rural District of the Central District of Mahmudabad County, Mazandaran province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,524 in 701 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 2,472 people in 775 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,656 people in 905 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
