Charmeh[1] (Persian: چرمه) is a village in Ayask Rural District, in the Central District of Sarayan County, South Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,209, in 351 families.[2]

According to the census of 2016, the population of this village was seven hundred and fifty seven people.

Economy[edit]

The economy of this village is based on the cultivation of saffron, pomegranate and jujube.
