The 22225/22226 Mumbai CSMT–Solapur Vande Bharat Express is India's 9th Vande Bharat Express train, running across the state of Maharashtra by starting from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and terminating at Solapur city.[1][2][3]

This train is operated by Indian Railways, connecting Mumbai CSMT, Dadar Ctrl, Thane, Kalyan Jn, Pune Jn, Kurduwadi Jn and Solapur. It is currently operated with train numbers 22225/22226 on 6 days a week basis.[4][5][6][7][8]

- Monday, 13 March 2023, Surekha Yadav - The first woman to drive the semi-high-speed Vande Bharat Express train from Solapur to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus covering a distance of 455 km.
- Tuesday, 14 March 2023, Surekha took this Vande Bharat Express train from Mumbai CSMT to Solapur.
- Sunday, 26 March 2023, PM Narendra Modi mentioned Surekha Yadav in his 99th episode of Mann ki Baat, appreciating her for being the First Lady to drive the Make In India's Vande Bharat Express train along with being First in every other category in her long service.
Rakes[edit]
It is the seventh 2nd Generation Vande Bharat Express train and was designed and manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) under the leadership of Sudhanshu Mani at Perambur, Chennai under the Make in India initiative.

The 22225/22226 Mumbai CSMT–Solapur Vande Bharat Express operates 6 days a week, covering a distance of 452 km (281 mi) in a travel time of 6 hrs 30 mins with average speeds of 69–70 km/h (43–43 mph). The Maximum Permissible Speed is 110 km/h (68 mph).[9]
