Baljit Singh Deo is an Indian music and movie director of Punjabi language.

Early life[edit]

Baljit Singh Deo was born in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. At an early age, he moved with his family to England, where he studied microelectronic engineering.[1]

Career[edit]

Following his engineering studies, Baljit Singh Deo initially worked as an engineer for several years, including roles at companies such as Motorola and as a Development Director at EA Sports. However, he eventually transitioned to a career in film direction. In a relatively short period, Deo gained acclaim as a director, particularly in music videos, earning multiple awards for his remarkable cinematography and directorial skills in feature films.

Currently, he is working in Punjabi movies as he directed Jag Jeondeyan De Mele starring Harbhajan Maan and Tulip Joshi & Mirza The Untold Story starring Gippy Grewal, Mandy Takhar and Rahul Dev. Additionally, he is working on Upcoming Movies set to release later in 2024, including ARDAAS Sarbat De Bhala Di,[2] [3] where he serves as DOP/Editor, and RAJNI, where he contributes as DOP and Creative Adviser. Furthermore, he is slated to direct, shoot, and edit Manje Bistre 3, although a release date is yet to be announced.[4] [5]
