CK United Football Club is an association football club based in Kilkenny, Ireland. CK United was born in 2017 when the Carlow & District Juveniles League and the Kilkenny District League joined together to enter an Under 15 Team in the League of Ireland Men’s Under 15 League. A Committee was elected by the 2 Leagues with the Carlow Chairman, Peter Harvey Chairing the Club Committee. Both Leagues saw this as a great opportunity to allow our young players continue their soccer careers without having to travel to Dublin after the Kennedy Cup. Since 2018 when we entered the National League, we have expanded with teams now entered at Men’s Under 14s, 15s, 17s and 19s whilst we have also entered Under 17 and 19s teams in the Women’s National Leagues. We are continuingly looking to add to our playing squads with plans in place to enter a 1st Team in the Women’s National League at the earliest opportunity after the recent success of our Women’s Squads, and future plans for a Men’s 1st Team as well.

History[edit]

The club joined the Southern Elite Division of the Under-17 National League after being awarded the licence for 2019 season.[1] On 22 November 2022 was renamed from Carlow-Kilkenny FC in CK United Football Club.[2]
