The Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica (also known as Kotta Palli) at Fort Kochi, Kochi, is one of the nine basilicas in India. The architecture is Gothic style.
The basilica serves as the cathedral church of the Diocese of Cochin.
It was originally built by the Portuguese and became a cathedral in 1558. Later the British demolished the structure and João Gomes Ferreira [pt] commissioned a new building in 1887 which was consecrated in 1905 and became a basilica in 1984.
