Firoja Begum Chino (Bengali: ফিরোজা বেগম) is a Awami League politician and the former Member of Bangladesh Parliament from a reserved seat.[1]

Early life[edit]

Chino was born on 23 February 1961 and she has a S.S.C. degree.[2]

Career[edit]

Chino was elected to parliament from reserved seat as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate in 2014.[2] She is the President of Rangamati District unit of the Bangladesh Mohila Awami League.[3]

Chino's daughter, Naznin Anwar, filed sued journalists under the Digital Security Act after they reported alcohol was being sold illegally at her restaurant at the Rangamati DC Park.[3]
