Ethnicity[edit]

The Galagedara Polling Division has a Sinhalese majority (92.6%) . In comparison, the Kandy Electoral District (which contains the Galagedara Polling Division) has a Sinhalese majority (74.4%) and a significant Moor population (13.9%) [1]
