Shahidabad (Persian: شهیدآباد), also Romanized as Shahīdābād,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Shahidabad Rural District, Bandpey-ye Gharbi District, Babol County, Mazandaran province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 3,152 in 873 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 3,105 people in 1,013 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,947 people in 1,039 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
