NHPC Khavda Solar Power Plant is an under-construction photovoltaic power station in Kutch, India.

History[edit]

The 200 MW planned solar power plant is being built by the state-owned NHPC at Gujarat Hybrid Renewable Energy Park.[1][2] In 2023, NHPC became one of the four winning participants in securing a part of a 1200 MW solar project in the area via a tender released by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited.[3]

As per recent media reports, the estimated cost of the project would be around 1,007.60 crore (US$130 million).[4]
