Mogal Maa

Mogal or Mogal Mata (Gujarati:મોગલ માં) is an regional Hindu goddess popular in Gujarati.[1][2] She is a primary deity of Charan and Ahir caste.[3]

Description[edit]

Mogal maa is believed to be appeared around 1300 year ago and was born in a village named Bhimrana, near Dwarka. There are 4 main temple dedicated to Mogal maa which are based in Dwarka, Goryali-Bagsara, Ranesar, Kabrua and Bhaguda Dham.[4] Bhaguda dham is a village suited in Mahuva Taluka of Bhagnagar district is one of the most popular temple of Maa mogal and it is named after a hindu saint name Bhrigurishi who was incarnated in the era of Satyug.[5] As well as Bhaguda, Temple in Kabrau also known as Mogal Dham in the district of kutch is also one most visited by devotees of Hindus and Muslims.[6][7]
