The Central District of Shirvan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان شیروان) is in North Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Shirvan.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 126,928 in 31,926 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 134,455 people in 37,178 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 123,745 inhabitants in 37,420 households.[2]
