Girl and Girl are a four-piece Australian rock band from Brisbane. The band was started by Kai James and Jayden Williams with Aunt Liss joining on drums and Fraser Bell on bass. Girl and Girl were signed by Sub Pop in 2023, and their forthcoming album will be released on May 24, 2024.

History[edit]

Kai James and guitarist Jayden Williams began jamming in James' mother's garage. One day, James' Aunt Liss joined them on drums after walking her dog.[1] Initially intended as a temporary arrangement, Aunt Liss became a permanent member of the band along with bass player Fraser Bell.[2]

In 2023, the band were signed by Sub Pop and they released a single titled All I See.[3] On May 24, Girl and Girl will release their debut album titled Call A Doctor.[4] On February 21, 2024 they release their first single from the record titled Hello.[5]
