Early life[edit]

Tadarius Thomas was born in Detroit, Michigan, from a background similar to other men from Detroit, but unlike most he made his way out of the poverty and out of poor neighborhoods where he grew up and was bullied while living there during most of his young life.[3]

Athletic Career[edit]

After Thomas was bullied growing up it led him to things such as boxing,[9][10] UFC, MMA, Wrestling, and amateur wrestling[11] those things led him to where he could to travel to other places on occasions and also out of Detroit on occasions as well, since the high school that he attended didn't have the sport wrestling available, in the Highland Park suburb he lived in in order for him to learn how to wrestle. Thomas was also led by wrestling to the Mixed Martial Arts and also to the city called Montreal where he trained and eventually had his first contest while he was only at the age of 17. Thomas, who's favorite sentence to say which is he is the only man in wrestling who can fight on his feet or upside down, is well versed in many martial arts including Brazilian jiu-jitsu, boxing, and submission grappling, but it is the African-Brazilian martial art called capoeira that he claims is his favorite. It is a style that is incorporated with dancing, gymnastics, and a variety of kicks from many position and is the reason why Thomas says that he is just as comfortable fighting up side down while he is standing on his feet.[12][3]

Professional wrestling career[edit]

Independent Circuit (2005–2014)[edit]

Thomas began his wrestling career in 2005 and debuted in 2008.[1] He has wrestled for several wrestling promotions, including Ring of Honor (ROH).  He also wrestled for Proving Ground Pro, and Xtreme Intense Championship Wrestling, where he went to win several championships in both of those independent circuit companies and even worked in other independent circuit companies way earlier years than that.[13][14] Thomas first went to Xtreme Intense Championship Wrestling in 2009 where he won the XICW Light Heavyweight Championship.[15] He was also the inaugural Proving Gound Pro Wrestling PGP Franchise Championship holder of 2013.[16]

Thomas also returned to Xtreme Intense Championship Wrestling in 2013 where he won the XICW Tag Team Championships with Hakim Zane.[17] In 2014 he also returned to Xtreme Intense Championship Wrestling a third time and won the XICW Xtreme Intense Championship.[18] While winning those belts from 2013 to 2014 he was also working at Ring of Honor Wrestling.

Ring of Honor (2011–2015)[edit]

Thomas debuted in Ring of Honor in 2011. While there he competed and was successful in solo matches and PPV solo matches against talent such as Silas Young, Rhino and had solo matches against others.[19][20][21]

He faced Silas Young and Rhino at ROH Pay-per-views by the names of Death Before Dishonor X: State of Emergency and Glory By Honor XI: The Unbreakable Hope, where he defeated Silas Young in a ROH Survival of the Fittest 2012 qualifying match and defeated Rhino in a impressive one-on-one singles match.[22]

While working in Ring of Honor Wrestling in 2013 Thomas ran into another Ring of Honor wrestler by the name of ACH and on March 3, 2013 together the two formed a wrestling stable by the name of Adrenaline Rush another ROH wrestler by the name of Athena Reese teamed in a six mix person tag team bout with the duo and she alongside ACH were formally known for being in a ROH stable / alliance by the name of Team RnB meanwhile Adrenaline Rush was a ROH tag team from that point on that went on strong, consisting of ACH and TD. ACH and Thomas teamed up in Ring of Honor where the two went on to compete and have outstanding tag team matches and ppv matches against other Ring of Honor tag teams and talent during years 2013 to 2014 the two went for ROH World Tag Team gold[23][24][25] but were not successful. Thomas competed in a match teaming with ACH. and Athena against B. J. Whitmer, Michael Elgin, & MsChif but was still not successful.[26][27][6]

The two as a tag team also teamed at ROH Pay-per-views such as Supercard of Honor VII, Border Wars (2013), Best in the World 2013 and more, all the way until sometime during year 2014.[26][27]

After a while in ROH sometime in 2014 Thomas and ACH feuded with each other and then had a one-on-one feud match with each other which TaDarius was not successful at winning[27][28] then a while afterwards the two as a stable became completely disbanded. After that Thomas in Ring of Honor went on to join a heel professional wrestling stable by the name of The Decade with Jimmy Jacobs. After a while after that Thomas had a couple of more outstanding singles matches in Ring of Honor Wrestling but then sometime in 2015 he was released from his Ring of Honor Wrestling contract.[27][29]

Professional wrestling style and persona[edit]

Thomas' finishing and signature moves are the Capoeira Kick and similar to everything familiar with Capoeira, UFC, Boxing and MMA due to him growing up doing all of those things as a hobby to escape.[12][3]
