Hugo Pingray is a French investor and pro-amateur poker player.[1]

Pingray is the founder and Chief Investment Officer[2] inoff flexible and structured alternative finance for Alpha Blue Ocean;[3] where he has deployed between 200 million and 1,5 billion euros worldwide[3] with emphasis on emerging markets such as the Middle East and Africa but also recently reaching out to North America and Asia.[3]

Pingray won his first bracelet in the World Series of Poker Deepstack Championship ($1,500 No-Limit Hold'em - Monster Stack (Event #51))[4] earning himself $1,327,083.[1][5][6]
EPT[edit]
In 2022, at the EPT Monte Carlo, Pingray finished 5th for $240,334;[1] in a final table that is most known for Pingray's successful bluff with a medium suited connector (9-high) forcing a fold from his opponent holding a set of aces.[7]
Style[edit]
Pingray is adhering to the new-school of poker players taking little to none positional consideration when putting in bets before the flop.[7]

As of May 2024, Pingray's total live tournament winnings exceeds $1,750,000.[1]
