The women's 200 metre freestyle competition of the swimming events at the 1963 Pan American Games took place on April.[1] The last Pan American Games champion was Chris von Saltza of US.[2][3][4][5][6][7]

This race consisted of four lengths of the pool, all in freestyle.[8]
