Rudpey District (Persian: بخش رودپی) is in Sari County, Mazandaran province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Akand.[3]

After the 2006 census, Rudpey-ye Jonubi Rural District and Rudpey-ye Shomali Rural District were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Rudpey District.[3]

The National Census in 2011 counted 37,287 people in 10,558 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 22,126 inhabitants in 7,341 households,[2] when Rudpey-ye Shomali Rural District was separated from the district in the establishment of Rudpey-ye Shomali District.[5]

After the census, the village of Akand was elevated to the status of a city.[6]
