Strange Darling is a 2023 American horror-thriller film[2] written and directed by JT Mollner and starring Willa Fitzgerald, Kyle Gallner, Barbara Hershey and Ed Begley Jr.
The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on August 23, 2024.

A cat-and-mouse thriller described as a “dramatization of the last known months of a serial killer”.[3]

Production[edit]
Miramax announced that filming on the project was underway in Portland, Oregon in 2022 with JT Mollner working from his own script to direct a cast led by Willa Fitzgerald, Kyle Gallner, Barbara Hershey and Ed Begley Jr. Bill Block, Steve Schneider and Roy Lee acted as producers on the project.[4] The film was shot entirely on 35mm film by director of photography and film cameo, Giovanni Ribisi.[5]

The film had its premiere on 22 September 2023, at Fantastic Fest held in Austin, Texas.[6]
The film is scheduled to be released in the United States on August 23, 2024.[7]
