Leeds Central and Headingley (UK Parliament constituency)
Leeds Central and Headingley is a proposed constituency of the House of Commons in the UK Parliament.[1] Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, it will first be contested at the next general election.[2]
Boundaries[edit]
The constituency will be composed of the following (as they existed on 1 December 2020):
- The City of Leeds wards of: Headingley & Hyde Park; Kirkstall; Little London & Woodhouse; Weetwood.[3]
It will comprise the following areas of the City of Leeds:[4]
- Headingley and Weetwood, transferred from Leeds North West
- Hyde Park, Little London and Woodhouse from Leeds Central (to be abolished and largely replaced by Leeds South)
- Kirkstall from Leeds West (to be abolished)
