Tiab (Persian: تياب)[a] is a village in Tiab Rural District of Tiab District, Minab County, Hormozgan Province, Iran, and serves as the capital of the district.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 991 in 209 households, when it was in the Central District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 993 people in 258 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 827 people in 265 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]

After the census, the rural district was separated from the district in the establishment of Tiab District, which was divided into two rural districts, including the new Sarbaran Rural District.[4]
