Khabar (Persian: خبر)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Khabar Rural District[4] of Dehaj District, Shahr-e Babak County, Kerman province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 263 in 60 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 711 people in 208 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 791 people in 275 households.[2]
