The Apple Pencil Pro is a wireless stylus pen designed and developed by Apple for the use with supported iPad tablets.[1][2]

The Apple Pencil Pro was announced alongside the seventh-generation iPad Pro and sixth-generation iPad Air on May 7, 2024. It connects and communicates wirelessly via Bluetooth.[3][4] The Apple Pencil Pro is currently only compatible with only those iPads, and will not work on any other iPad.

Apple has promoted the Apple Pencil Pro as an upgrade of the original Apple Pencil. The system requirements for the Apple Pencil Pro are iPadOS 17.5 or later.[5]

The Apple Pencil Pro comes with features as Low latency, Pixel-perfect precision, Double tap, Pressure sensitivity and the Apple pencil hover.[6][7]
