Torjan Rural District (Persian: دهستان ترجان)[3] is in the Central District of Saqqez County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Qahrabad-e Sofla,[5] transferred from the village of Baghlujeh.[6]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 5,030 in 946 households.[7] There were 4,240 inhabitants in 1,054 households at the following census of 2011.[8] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 3,939 in 1,057 households. The most populous of its 19 villages was Torjan, with 596 people.[2]
