Phenomy is a metal band from Lebanon formed by Loïc El Haddad (guitarist) and Rudy Bejjani (drummer). To date, Phenomy has released three full length albums, each with its own touring cycle.

The current lineup includes Rudy Bejjani (drums and percussion), Loïc El Haddad (Lead guitars), Sam Felfly (vocals/rhythm guitars) and Peter Aoun (bass guitar).

History[edit]

A few months after their formation and debut performance in December 2014 the band were invited to perform at the Persian Rock And Metal Festival[1] in Çanakkale, Turkey.

A major lineup change occurred when the band entered the studio to record their first album Once And For All, with the addition of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Sam Felfly.

After releasing Once And For All,[2] Phenomy embarked on their first European tour including shows in Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Croatia and Bulgaria.

Their second album Threaten World Order.[3] was released in February 2018. The album was conceived with a lot of tribal influences in mind and yielded singles and live staples such as Sacrifice and Dance of the Wounded Souls.

Phenomy entered and won the Middle Eastern chapter of the Wacken Battle of the Bands which enabled them to perform at one of the biggest music and heavy metal festivals on earth, Wacken Open Air.[4] The band also performed at the Metalhead Meeting Festival[5] a month prior to Wacken Open Air, sharing the stage with acts such as Children of Bodom, Soulfly, Epica, Sonata Arctica, Kataklysm, Carach Angren to name a few.

Phenomy released their third album Syndicate Of Pain, on March 3, 2022.

Syndicate Of Pain is a concept album about an asylum ran by a fictional character, Dr Anton Shuman, a mad scientist that is manipulating patients labelled as insane. The album later reveals that these patients are part of a larger and more sinister project that even Dr Schuman himself is caught up in.
